1. Definitions

In these Terms, the following expressions carry the meanings set out below:

• "Service" means any watch inspection, repair, regulation, restoration, or related work carried out by Naga Timepieces, as well as access to this website.
• "You" / "User" means any person who accesses this website or submits a timepiece or enquiry to us.
• "We" / "Us" / "Our" means Naga Timepieces, operating from 178 Thanon Thalang, Talat Yai, Muang, Phuket 83000, Thailand.
• "Content" means all text, images, technical descriptions, pricing information, and other material published on this website.
• "Agreement" means these Terms and Conditions, together with any written service agreement or quotation issued by us for a specific job.
• "Timepiece" means any watch, clock, or horological instrument submitted to us for evaluation or work.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By visiting this website, submitting an enquiry form, or leaving a timepiece in our care, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.

Use of this website and engagement of our services is open to persons aged 18 or over who have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement. If you are acting on behalf of another person or a business, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that party to these Terms.

3. Service Description

Naga Timepieces provides specialist watch care in Phuket, Thailand. Our current service offerings are:

Prices shown are starting figures. A written quotation will be provided before any substantive work begins. We reserve the right to adjust the scope and cost of work if the condition of a timepiece differs from initial expectations, with your agreement sought before proceeding.

Our services are available to clients located within Thailand and internationally. Work is performed at our workshop in Phuket. Return of timepieces by post or courier is arranged separately and at the client's expense and risk unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. User Responsibilities

When using this website or submitting a timepiece to us, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information in all enquiry forms and communications.
• Confirm that you are the legal owner of any timepiece submitted, or that you have the authority to submit it on behalf of the owner.
• Disclose any known damage, prior repairs, or modifications to a timepiece before submission.
• Collect or arrange collection of your timepiece within a reasonable period following notification that work is complete.
• Use the website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not interfere with its operation or the experience of other users.

The following are not permitted: attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or our systems; transmitting harmful, misleading, or fraudulent content; using automated means to scrape or copy content; or misrepresenting your identity or authority.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, photographs, graphic elements, and the overall visual design — is owned by or licensed to Naga Timepieces. Nothing on the site transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

You are permitted to view and print pages from this website for personal, non-commercial reference. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or adapt any content for any other purpose without our prior written consent.

Any written reports or documentation we produce in relation to your timepiece are provided for your personal records. They may not be reproduced or published without our consent.

6. Payment Terms

All prices are stated in Thai Baht (฿) and are inclusive of applicable Thai taxes unless otherwise noted. A written quotation is provided before work begins; that quotation forms the basis of the agreed fee for the service.

Payment is due in full upon completion of work, before the timepiece is released. We accept bank transfer and major payment methods; the available options will be confirmed at the time of quotation.

Should a service reveal additional requirements not apparent at the time of quotation, we will contact you to discuss. No additional work will be carried out without your approval, and any agreed revision to the fee will be confirmed in writing before proceeding.

If a timepiece is not collected within 90 days of completion and no arrangement has been made, we reserve the right to apply a reasonable storage charge. After 12 months of non-collection following written notice to your last known address, we may treat the timepiece as abandoned.

7. Service-Specific Terms

Each service is carried out with care and diligence appropriate to the work involved. The following additional terms apply:

• Inspection & Routine Care: Recommendations made in the written summary are offered for your consideration only. There is no obligation to proceed with further work.
• Repair & Regulation: Where original manufacturer parts are unavailable, we will discuss suitable alternatives with you before proceeding. We aim to preserve the character and value of the timepiece throughout.
• Restoration & Collector Service: For vintage or collectible timepieces, the approach to refinishing and parts sourcing will be discussed and agreed with you before work begins. Our aim is always to preserve originality and long-term value.
• Timescales: Indicative timeframes are given in good faith. Complex or restoration work may require longer periods, and we will keep you informed. Delays attributable to parts sourcing or external suppliers are outside our direct control.
• Documentation: Reports and service records provided to you form part of the timepiece's provenance history and should be retained accordingly.

8. Disclaimers

The content on this website is provided for general information only and may not reflect the most current developments. While we take care to ensure accuracy, we make no representations as to the completeness or suitability of the information for any particular purpose.

Our services are provided on the basis of reasonable professional care and skill. We do not make representations as to specific outcomes, performance improvements, or future resale values. Every timepiece responds differently to service, and individual results will vary.

Nothing on this website constitutes professional financial, investment, or valuation advice. If the value of a timepiece is material to your financial decisions, you should seek independent professional guidance.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, our total liability to you arising from or in connection with any service shall not exceed the fee paid for that service.

We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses, including lost profit, loss of use, or diminution in value resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We take reasonable precautions to safeguard timepieces while in our care. In the event of loss or damage occurring at our workshop, our liability is limited to the declared replacement value of the timepiece at the time of submission, up to a reasonable maximum that will be agreed with you before work begins on higher-value pieces.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any matter that cannot be limited by law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Naga Timepieces, its staff, and representatives harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your misuse of this website, your breach of these Terms, or any false or misleading information you have provided in connection with a service.

11. Termination

You may withdraw from a service at any time before work has begun, at no charge. If work is already in progress, a fee proportionate to the work completed may apply, and you will be notified of any such charge before your timepiece is returned.

We reserve the right to decline or discontinue any service if we have reasonable grounds to believe that a timepiece has been submitted by someone without authority, or if continued work is no longer practicable for reasons outside our control.

The provisions of these Terms relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution remain in effect after any termination.

12. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or our services shall first be addressed through direct communication between the parties, with a genuine effort made to reach an amicable resolution within 30 days.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of Phuket Province, Thailand.

Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent interim relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.

13. General Provisions

• Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with any written quotation or service agreement, constitute the entire understanding between the parties regarding the relevant service.
• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
• Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms on any occasion does not constitute a waiver of that provision going forward.
• Assignment: You may not transfer your obligations under these Terms to another party without our prior written consent.
• Notices: Formal communications should be directed by email to [email protected] or in writing to our workshop address.

14. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or applicable law. Updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the site or our services after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

For active service engagements, the Terms in effect at the time of your written quotation will govern that particular engagement, unless a variation is agreed in writing.
