Why Naga

What We Bring to Each Watch

The qualities we hold to aren't visible in a brochure — they show in the care of the work and the clarity of communication.

Attentive Examination

Every watch is looked at individually, under magnification and with a trained eye. No shortcuts and no assumptions about what a watch needs before it has been properly assessed.

Clear Written Reports

After every inspection, a plain-language summary is prepared — what was found, what was done, and any observations worth noting. Owners are kept informed without unnecessary pressure.

Correct Parts, Carefully Sourced

Where parts are needed, they are sourced to match the original specification. For vintage pieces, this means patient searching rather than convenient substitution.

Respect for Original Character

A watch's originality and character are part of its worth. Work is approached with that in mind — restoring function and appearance without erasing the marks of time where they belong.

Transparent Timelines

Realistic timeframes are given at the outset. Collectors understand that careful work cannot be rushed, and we communicate openly if circumstances change.

Secure Handling Throughout

Each timepiece is handled under conditions that protect it from dust, humidity, and damage. Tracked and documented from the moment it arrives to when it leaves.

Your Watch Deserves a Considered Approach

Whether you have a question about a timepiece, want to understand what a service involves, or are ready to bring a watch in, we are happy to hear from you — without obligation.

Frequently Asked

Common Questions

What should I bring when I drop off my watch?
Bringing the watch itself is enough to begin. If you have any service history, original papers, or purchase records, these are useful but not required. For collector pieces, any documentation you have will help us understand the watch's background more fully.
How long does a service typically take?
Routine inspection and care usually takes two to three weeks. Repair and regulation services generally require four to six weeks, depending on parts availability. Restoration work for vintage or complicated pieces may take longer — a realistic estimate is provided after the initial assessment.
Do you work on all watch brands and movements?
We work on a wide range of Swiss, German, and Japanese mechanical and automatic movements, including complications such as chronographs, perpetual calendars, and moonphases. If we are not the right fit for a particular piece, we will say so clearly.
Are the listed prices final?
The prices shown are starting points for each service level. After examining your watch, we will provide a clear written quotation before any work begins. You are never committed to proceeding based on a preliminary figure.
Can I send my watch by post or courier?
Yes. Owners from outside Phuket are welcome to send timepieces by insured courier. We will confirm safe receipt and send photos of the watch's condition on arrival. Please contact us first to discuss suitable packaging and insurance coverage for your piece.
What happens if additional issues are found during work?
If anything unexpected comes to light, we pause and contact you before continuing. No additional work is carried out without your knowledge and agreement. This is simply how we think a watch service should be handled.
